Ad-free Badoo on iOS

Badoo AdBlock is a Loon plugin that blocks the advertising networks the Badoo app loads: banners, interstitials and video ads. It works with plain domain rules, so it does not need MITM or a certificate on your device.

Requirements

  • iPhone or iPad with Loon 3.2.6 or newer
  • Badoo installed from the App Store

How to install

  1. Open this page on your iPhone or iPad and tap Install
  2. Confirm with Add Plugin when Loon opens
  3. Make sure the plugin is enabled in the Loon Plugin tab
  4. Force-close Badoo and open it again

Troubleshooting

Ads still appear

Force-close Badoo and reopen it. Sponsored cards served from Badoo's own servers cannot be blocked without MITM.

Badoo does not load

Check that no other plugin or rule is blocking badoo.com. This plugin only rejects third-party ad domains.
